Project Overview
The creation of the Grand Harbour Marina Cottonera by MED is a landmark achievement that has redefined Malta's maritime identity. Spanning an impressive 3.63 kilometres, this project, completed between 2002 and 2009, showcased MED's extensive expertise in civil and marine engineering, infrastructure development, and architectural prowess, especially in the design of the Capitainerie. This initiative, far more than a regeneration, was a complete creation of a new marina, celebrating Malta's rich maritime heritage while establishing a premier yachting destination.
