Project Overview
In the coastal town of Bugibba, Seaview Hotel stands as a testament to sophisticated design and impeccable execution. This full-scale hotel development project is a harmonious reflection of its idyllic surroundings. Realised by MED it’s design draws inspiration from the azure Mediterranean Sea, which lies just a stone's throw away from the hotel's doorstep. The architectural masterpiece is characterized by a striking juxtaposition of white, solid, curved balconies and transparent, reflective straight balconies. This bold contrast not only adds visual intrigue but also evokes the essence of the sea meeting the land.
A Symphony of Shapes and Materials
The sinuous facades of Seaview Hotel create an elegant contrast between the fluidity of the sea and the solidity of the land. The curved lines in the design emulate the gentle movements of the sea, while the rigid, straight lines represent the mainland. Additionally, the choice of materials enhances this dialogue: the undulating white masonry conjures images of Malta's hilly landscapes, while the transparent, reflective glass balustrades embody the ever-changing, shimmering sea.
181 Rooms of Coastal Elegance
