On Friday, 26th August, the MUZA Courtyard in Valletta hosted a remarkable MASP event - 'AfterSunset: Conversations on Architecture & Design.' The event featured a distinguished guest speaker, Architect Ed Hayden, who led Scott Brownrigg's Life Sciences division, renowned for championing sustainable design and design excellence. Scott Brownrigg, one of the UK's largest architectural firms, served as a testament to Ed's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
This event held significant importance for us, as MED's Design and Sustainability architects were actively engaged in discussions, reinforcing our dedication to remaining at the forefront of innovative and sustainable design practices. We understood the urgency of protecting and enhancing our environment through cutting-edge approaches. Architect Ed Hayden delivered a keynote presentation titled 'Research, Design, and Architecture: The Journey to Zero Carbon,' offering valuable insights into our shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the creation of a greener future.
In addition to our active participation in the event, we are proud to announce that MED has been entrusted with the Maltese upcoming Life Sciences Project, located in the vicinity of the hospital in San Gwann. This project represents a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing sustainable and innovative architectural solutions for the betterment of our community.
